Love the myriad fake comments. Love to see it. Nothing like faking delusion to pretend to feel something.

...What?

Who knows. People who aren't in a particular space tend to not understand it, and in turn try to disqualify it because they feel that something they don't understand is something that can harm them. Or something, it's probably not that gleep and they're just being mean

i genuinely dont remember playing most of this but i IMEDIATELY shared this with my partner and w o w what a head rush, must have been a great game!! 10?/10, no notes :3

guhhh... Holy moly, this game made me feel things...

I think I've learned something about myself, stumbling randomly upon this.

this actually worked insanely well on me- I can't wait for a full version or maybe a one handed one....for no reason in particular...

This game is really cool! It's the closest I've ever gotten to actually being hypnotized. I felt pleasantly relaxed and had a sort of brain fog afterwards.
I will say, for whatever reason having to catch the motes instead of just matching the rhythm broke the visual illusion for me and seemed to lessen the trance state. I would love it if there was a toggle to turn it off, but maybe it's important, I don't know a lot about hypnosis.

oh that was lovely. Like a spa day for my brain. Thank you 💖

this one liked it

AWESOMEEEE thank you so much we had such a good time

I love this game in concept, and I enjoyed playing it, but it was really hard to tell if I was doing it "right"...am I supposed to hit the space bar when the dot is at its largest? That seemed right, but the falling orbs were really confusing - did I want to get them to fall in the center? Sometimes it felt like they just randomly veered off to the side...it might be nice to add a brief "tutorial" section where you get told directly if you're hitting the right buttons or not. Either way, lovely game!! I am excited to come back to it and completely lose track of time again.

Realize now I wasn't hitting the space bar fast enough in the beginning lmao. Once I got it working it was a great time - thank you for this!

:) i appreciate you coming back for a second go and hope you enjoyed it

Feedback: obeyed and stopped at the "try to stop" instruction, then the "you can't, can you" immediately following felt contradictory and took me out of it for the rest of the script.

hehehehehe

had the same issue. woops.

Practice my usually terrible rythm and being called good boy is everything to me. i love this game

This is so rad! Are there any plans to allow for custom inductions or player identities?

(+3)

also: it would be nice to have a completely neutral praise indicator. like good [job] maybe?

agreed! (also, did not expect to find you here [not specific to this game, itch comments in general. internet's a big place])

this was really cool! but i felt a little scared at the drop: she said let go of everything and i didn’t know if that included the rhythm game and leaning controls too! and so i let my arms drop off the keyboard and my eyes close. and then nothing happened, and i opened my eyes and the game had gone back to its start state. is that the end of the game? i don’t want to be doing it wrong,,

(+1)

HAHAHA i am so sorry that is a failure state i did not consider. i will rewrite the script a little later tonight.

You should tag this with psychological horror

can i ask why?

(+3)(-1)

of course.

probably because of the sudden sense of "oh no, i lost control of my body". it can be frigthening for some people (not for me, i'm so in for it)

This was really good! It's the sort of thing I feel inclined (compelled, one might say) to return to and get better at. I think on your Tumblr you asked about people paying for a longer version, I definitely would.

It looks really good! Sadly I wasn't able to keep playing it after the drop because (I think) the timing is too tight on the beats for me to be able to execute it (I'm dyspraxic). Would it be possible to add some option to make the timings easier/a no fail mode? I'm trying my best!

this one has played a few times and very much enjoyed it! its an excellent way to spend a few moments here and there,,, it wonders about the likelyhood of changing the settings or inductions for personal use or play.

very nice though yay for dolls setting <33333

can you make a downloadable version? i'd love to be able to play this offline

Thanks for the shout out! :) Fun stuff

FWIW - Firefox audio performance/timing is pretty rough. I don't think there's a way around this, so it might be worth adding one of those annoying "best experienced in Chrome" disclaimers.

Thank you for the resources :)

very well made experience, although i did have a few things to point out that i felt lessened the trance in some way
- the breathing instructions and collection gameplay not being synced to the beat felt like a missed opportunity (when i play traditional rhythm games i usually find focusing on hitting notes to the beat is very close to trance on its own)
- reading the transcript it seems like most of the induction didn't play for me (playing on firefox if this is a bug) including basically all of the actual suggestions which look really hot.. the "good doll" ensured i'm leaking afterward anyway but yknow

Thank you for the feedback, I will work on it.

much better after the patch @w@ awawawa

I am glad you enjoyed. Do you have anything in particular to say besides awawawa?

"huh i wonder why it's called zoneout" i have no idea how much time passed and didn't realize i was zoned out until i woke back up - this was delightful

:)

visually stunning, thank you for giving the gift of empty head

I am glad you enjoyed :)
