THIS UPDATE IS FUCKING BIG

  • ADDED FAIRY
  • ADDED GRAZE AND SPELLCASTING SYSTEMS. JUST BARELY DODGE ENEMY ATTACKS IN ORDER TO BUILD MANA, THEN USE IT TO CAST SPELLS WITH Z.
    • CAST AT 50% FOR A WEAKER VERSION THAT TAKES 50 FRAMES TO CAST, OR CAST AT 100% FOR A 3X STRONGER VERSION THAT TAKES 75 FRAMES TO CAST.
    • GETTING HIT WHILE SPELLCASTING WILL INTERRUPT THE SPELL WITHOUT REFUNDING YOUR MANA.
    • YOU BEGIN THE GAME WITH THE FAN OF BULLETS SPELL AND CAN CHANGE YOUR SPELLS EVERY 4 LEVELS.
    • AVAILABLE SPELLS:
      • FAN OF BULLETS - RELEASE 10 2X DAMAGE, 2X PENETRATION, 2X SPEED BULLETS AROUND YOU. FULLCAST FOR 30 BULLETS.
      • HEALING CIRCLE - CREATE A CIRCLE ON THE GROUND THAT RESTORES HP AND STAMINA AS LONG AS YOU AREN'T HIT. FULLCAST FOR 3X HEALING RATE.
      • BLANK WAVE - CLEAR ALL DEBRIS, DESTROY ALL PROJECTILES, AND RESET ALL ENEMIES TO IDLE, LOCKING THEM IN THAT STATE FOR TWO SECONDS. FULLCAST FOR 3X DURATION.
      • FAIRY WIELDING - ALLOW YOUR FAIRY TO AUTOMATICALLY FIRE WEAK BULLETS AT ENEMIES FOR 30 SECONDS. FULLCAST FOR TRIPLE SHOT.
  • ADDED TRANSPARENCY TO LEVEL UP AND YOU DIED SCREENS
  • REMOVED WEAPON UPGRADES (GUN DAMAGE, GUN COST, BULLET PENETRATION) ON LEVEL-UP.
  • SLIGHTLY BUFFED RIFLE'S BASE STATS TO COMPENSATE.
  • INCREASED BASE ENEMY SOULS FROM 10 -> 11. THESE TWO CHANGES COMBINED SHOULD MAKE THE EARLY GAME SLIGHTLY EASIER.
  • CHANGED PENETRATION MECHANIC - IF A BULLET KILLS AN ENEMY AND HAS DAMAGE LEFT, ITS DAMAGE GETS RESET TO THE PENETRATION VALUE, RATHER THAN HAVING THAT VALUE ADDED TO THE BULLET. THE BASIC RIFLE HAS A PENETRATION OF 6.
  • ADDED WEAPON RUNES TO REPLACE WEAPON UPGRADES. YOU GET A NEW WEAPON RUNE EVERY 5 LEVELS, AND CAN HAVE UP TO THREE. THESE PROVIDE MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR ACTIVE WEAPON. FLAT INCREASES APPLY BEFORE % INCREASES, % INCREASES ARE ADDITIVE WITH EACH OTHER.
    • KICKBACK: 100% ADDITIONAL RECOIL TIME, +3 DAMAGE, +1 PENETRATION PER RUNE.
    • HEAVY BULLETS: -20% PROJECTILE SPEED, +1 DAMAGE, +1 PENETRATION PER RUNE.
    • LIGHT FRAME: -1 FRAME OF RECOIL, -1.25 GUN COST, -1 DAMAGE, -1 PENETRATION PER RUNE.
    • SHARPSHOOTER: -30% SKEW, -5 FRAMES OF ACCURACY RESET TIME
    • WILD SHOT - +100% SKEW, +2 DAMAGE PER RUNE.
    • SPLITTER - +1 PROJECTILE COUNT, +50% SKEW, +1 DAMAGE PER RUNE. DAMAGE IS DIVIDED PER PROJECTILE.

MORE RUNES AND SPELLS ARE COMING IN LATER PATCHES

  • WEAPONS NOW HAVE ACCURACY. FIRING TOO FREQUENTLY WITHOUT STOPPING FOR A BREAK MAKES YOUR ACCURACY GO DOWN, SKEWING YOUR AIM RANDOMLY TO THE SIDES (BUT BELL CURVE BIASED TOWARDS THE CENTER). CHILLING OUT MAKES YOUR ACCURACY RAPIDLY RETURN TO NORMAL.
  • BACK-END CHANGES REGARDING PARTICLE EFFECTS AND OUTLINES TO MAKE MY LIFE EASIER
  • BULLET TRACER PARTICLES HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM SINGLE PIXELS TO A LINE, WHICH SHOULD MAKE THEM SIGNIFICANTLY MORE PERFORMANT
